Hi community!

Rarely am I beaten by software. But the lack of discussion on this topic has defeated me.

I'm trying to stream the Xbox one to my late 2015 MacBook Pro with Retina display, and I'm failing to do so. Every time the connection is established, a second after and the whole Xbox app that I'm running in the latest version on windows 10 through the latest version of boot camp, crashes and closes down.

I've visited a few forums here and there, with the general theme of the issue being related to the AMD graphics card.

I'm wondering if anyone else with the similar mac and Xbox has had any similar issues.

P.S. I've ran the stream test (those of you with xboxs will know what I mean) with all test receiving a successful tick mark. I've also noticed the app crashes when I'm trying to play a captured video uploaded by the live community.

Any help much appreciated.

Alabama plays Arkansas today and can-you-stream-xbox-to-mac.html is going to stream it live at their website. The game is at 2:30 p.m. central standard time. I'm not going to be here to watch the game and I no longer have satellite. We dumped it.
Is there any way for me to record it from the live stream while I'm gone?

My wife loves to watch Thai movies and tv shows online. Unfortunately we have had to settle for watching everything in very small windows, as the 'full size' options never work. I assume this is because these websites are set up for windows. We currently need to use Flip4Mac to watch these sites. We are using Safari as our browser. Any one have any idea if we would have better luck with another browser, or another video player? I could just install different browsers and video players and try them out, but I was hoping someone may be able to point us in the right direction so we don't have to install, then try and un-install a bunch of stuff, and I certainly don't want to install windows!

I can watch movies from Netflix on our Mac book. But when I plug the computer into my TVs hdmi port I get sound but no picture. I recently upgraded to Snow Leopard.Before the upgrade, whenever I plugged the mac into the hdmi port the computer's desktop would appear on the TV; now I get nothing. What am I doing wrong?

I have an Ibook g3 700mhz 384 MB and having dificulty watching streaming video for ex. cnn.com or any other. I can watch movies on flash drive and dvds no probs or from harddrive but streaming is very choppy. I know connection is not the issue (I have broadband) and streaming works fine on sony desktop running xp 1ghz with 256 mb ram. What gives?

I have a WD TV Live Plus hub on my network that I connect my WD Passport into to run my media but I want to be able to stream my media from my macbook pro on my network. From the MBP, I can see the WD but can't connect to it. I use a Belkin router. I have spoken to WD and they went back and forth.
I run OS X 10.6.4 Snow Leopard and have shared my folders to read and write.

Apple had one for their media event in September where they unveiled their new iPods but I can't remember how far in advance they announced that there'd be a stream. The stream quality for that was terrific, I hope they repeat this.

I have a macbook (10.5.1), and I am trying to share my internet through Airport -> Macbook -> Ethernet Cable -> Xbox 360 to get onto Xbox Live.
-What do I manually put as my IP?
-Subnet Mask is 255.255.0.0 or is it 255.255.255.0
-What do I put as my gateway?
Now, every time that my IP has confirmed, the DNS fails. How do I configure this properly?

Xbox One Cast

Hi so I just got a new macbook pro the other day and am having some trouble. My school has streaming lectures I need to access but they are in wmv format. I have downloaded both flip4mac and vlc but neither seem to work. Quicktime will either tell me that it cannot open urls that begin with 'mms' or give me 'osstatus error-19160'. VLC media player gives me an error message saying your input can't be opened. The url begins with mms and ends with a .wmv. I don't want to have to use windows through bootcamp to stream the lectures if I can help it. To access the website and each individual video I need to enter in my username and password on the website and then into windows media player on a pc, I'm not sure if this makes any difference. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Yesterday, I bought an hdm cord and adapter so it would fit into my MacBook Air. I also bought a separate speaker system. When I set it up, it worked perfectly. I had to disconnect my MacBook and when I set everything up, it did not work. I could see my MacBook's background colors on the TV, but the video would not stream. I could see it on my computer, but not on the TV.

So, at the moment I'm torn between the Rev B 1.86 SSD MBA and a fully loaded (2.4/4GB/128 SSD) MB to replace my aging MBP. As a student, my usage is light, with the caveat that I watch an awful lot of streaming video in Safari - sites like Channelsurfing, Megavideo and especially ESPN360. Am I likely to run into major fan/heat issues with this kind of usage profile, or have the revisions Apple has made to Rev B made a big enough difference to assuage my worries?

I just got a macbook. I love it with the exception that when I stream sports, the picture and sound are clear but the picture's streaming speed isn't steady.
For instance, a watching hockey, it looks like the players are speeding up and slowing down the entire time.
Does anyone know of a driver that I can run to stop this? Maybe a different browser. I have tried firefox and safari and the problem is the same on both.

Have a 15' MacBook Pro late 2013 just under a year now and when steaming programmes online the fans get noticeably louder and the air coming out of the MacBook is pretty warm. This happens even if it is sitting on a table with none of air intakes covered.
